About Me
I am currently a data scientist with Uber Inc. in San Francisco.
From Nov 2017 to July 2019, I was a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University, hosted by Ramesh Johari and Jose Blanchett.
I was Visiting Faculty at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay from Aug 2017 to Oct 2017. From Jan 2016 to July 2017 I was Postdoctoral Researcher at Microsoft Research - Inria Joint center, hosted by Dr. Laurent Massoulie.
Prior to this, I was Simons Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin hosted by Prof. Francois Baccelli in Fall of 2015. I obtained my PhD at The University of Texas at Austin in August 2015 under supervision of Prof. Gustavo de Veciana.
I have also held research positions at Bell Labs New Jersey, and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore.
Research Interests
Leveraging tools from machine learning and stochastic processes for decision making in online platforms. Multi-armed bandits, online matching, pricing, reinforcement learning, applied probability.
